As long as the teletab/teleport registers before the sum of HP is removed, then the person should not be dealt any damage.
However if someone teleports during say a claw spec, and the damage accumulated already and is being dealt before the tab registers, then the game mechanics should render that person dead.

Forgot to add a third option "leave it the way it is now". Oh well.

Not entirely - the second option specifically states that the guy becomes immune from dying as soon as he breaks his teletab. The way it's coded right now, if a hit was already registered but didn't show the hitsplat yet, it would still go through and you'd die after the teleport.Jonas wrote:Well the 'Leave it the way it is now' = Second option.Mike wrote:Forgot to add a third option "leave it the way it is now". From what i can tell the only damage that will go through is a dfs spec. (Which is what happened to me that night that kenx "killed" me.)Mike wrote:Not entirely - the second option specifically states that the guy becomes immune from dying as soon as he breaks his teletab. I'd like everyone to take into consideration rushing will become a fucking massive issue if you vote for the hits to register over a teleport.

Agreed with underdog, I've also never seen it too.The underdog wrote:I've never had this happen in pvp and don't think I have seen it either. I guess this is an issue with gmaul specs?
It doesn't matter too much if you ask me, I'd say let them die because the hit registered before the tab?

canceling the tab will allow pkers to stack damage during the instance during the tab giving pkers an unfair advantage to kill the other player. I think the tab should just cancel out any further damage.
