Don't worry, any sort of cache editing and customization is still completely allowed! This change pertains only to programs that hook into our client (and potentially modify its behaviour).
Please note that we do not want to put a stop to all forms of modding altogether. If someone wants to create a legitimately enhanced client we can always review it and put it on some kind of white list. But since to our knowledge there is currently no such client, all modified clients are being disallowed.
In related news...
Those of you who are familiar with me know that I am not one for public shaming. However in this case I think it best if we explain our actions to the community regarding the following two punishments. I have no doubt they will lead to a fair bit of drama but at least this way you know why we did what we did.

Earlier today B0rnt0b3pk was caught botting Hunter, as he has done for the past 3 months. The mechanism used to detect the bot program leaves no room for doubt. I want to make it perfectly clear that we are 100% certain he was botting. Upon being asked to stop, B0rnt0b3pk chose to make yet another topic (as he has done many times) in which he pretended to be the innocent victim and once again tried to disrepute PkHonor. For botting and for his relentless (and entirely fictional) toxicity towards server management we have decided to expel him for a minimum of six months, effective immediately.

Over the past 3 months Blahblahdie has been detected (though not yet punished for) botting Hunter, Construction, Farming and Herblore. Once again the detection method leaves no doubt. He has also been found to actively develop and distribute bot scripts. For this we have also decided to expel him for a minimum of 6 months, effective immediately.
Gentlemen, I'm sorry for putting you on display like this. I'm only doing it because if I don't, some made-up story will start circulating in which we are made out to be Nazi's hunting down the Inglorious Basterds. Personally I'm a bit tired of those so this time I'm sharing our reasons first-hand. Everyone else, I welcome you to make up your own mind about whether you believe me or not.
