Late to the party on this. So you know, the way RuneLite does render distance is by doing renders on the GPU. That's probably a major rewrite for us but I figured I should let you know in case it's actually more viable than I'd thought. But also if you can optimize the CPU rendering to support this you will literally be the GOAT

Randomly crashes when loading a new area.
System resources are not the problem surely, 32gb ram 2700x nvme ssd tho my 2070 super goes to 69% :notsureif:

The zoom client is not fully optimized yet ( you can notice it when you try to zoom too far, even with a decent setup you'll still have a drop in fps), hence why it's not in the official client yet. So keep that in mind

Yep, that's why this hasn't been released into the regular client yet even as an optional setting
