Re: A status update
Don't let the perception of what people might think of you or might believe you owe them let you down. People judge others based on their actions, and themselves on their thoughts... but you've always had good intentions and no one should be able to question that and be taken seriously. Plenty of us will be elated to hear about the dark days being behind you, and plenty more want to help you get there. Let us be a shoulder to lean on too, in so far as you're comfortable with that.
Echoing what Nolan and others have said, I'm always happy to chat. More than anything else, people want to know you're still around and to feel your presence. You matter to the community, and not just because you push out updates. We care about Mike, the person, as well.
Take it easy and stay in touch, man!

Re: A status update
My comment was deleted on the Easter thread so maybe this one is more fitting.
Most people can understand going through depression, ups and downs, rough times in general. Everyone feels for you and wishes you all the best with feeling better.
With that being said you just invested a healthy amount of time into an Easter event that literally nobody asked for, that the community has been trolling about since recognizing you’ve been online the past few days. Which maybe you’ve noticed or maybe you haven’t.
It’s very clear that everyone is anticipating Raj’s combat achievements to be the “next update”. It’s gone through two betas and have been tested for an extensive period of time now. So during your “down time” why not allow this update to be pushed through? Why continue to bottle neck the people within your corner?
There comes a point where when you reject the help you need for so long, eventually that help will no longer be available when you recognize you should’ve taken it from the start. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen here.
