What happened to Forums Moderators?

I think forums Moderators were a great add to the forums since some great human beings were only active on the forums and wanted to make it safer for others

Or have they been replaced?

I think it was mostly because we don't need additional forum moderation, and it's easier to manage the staff team without having additional moderators that sorta exist outside of the main staff team.

The amount of traffic increase we'd need to actually justify forums only moderators is very significant and not super likely to happen.
