Nex pet

We should do a week long series of GWD events with a Nex event at the end. The winner of the Nex event will get the first pet ingame. Then we can release the ability to get the pet ingame a week later. Who agrees?

I actually love this idea. Would highlight the pet and would also make the community participate.

Not a huge fan of the week later release. I'd rather it be the week of normal GWD bosses and whomever wins that gets the nex pet prior to the nex event day going live

So what I’m see’ing from replies and votes so far;

The pet should be obtainable both ways with and without trading in other gwd pets, however the rate should be changed. (what I suggested 1-1K drop rate for no pet trade in or 1-500 drop rate with the pet trade in)

The perks could be simple but efficient as;
Lowers or removes the chances of your overload getting canceled
Teleports you directly to nex (skipping kc)
Works through GWD as any of their lucky pets.
(Possibly working as an endless ecumenical key throughout gwd)

I’m also a massive fan of @Adam idea for the GWD event prior. Maybe change it where there is no nex event prior to the release though. I think it’ll burn people out and to a degree ruin the release, I do think we could find a way to make a leaderboard for the remaining 4 bosses in GWD with whoever winning the event getting the first nex pet.

Not a fan of inf ecu keys, irons and normies can get them easily from wild or purchase credits and get it through the donator salesman (which I'm sure plenty of people do which helps the server). I like the idea of a nex event upon release
