Everything is incredibly laggy.

Hey there, I haven't logged in for a while and I found out that there's an inferno update that I would like to attempt. My client's all updated but everything is lagging. I have tried deleting the cache, updating java, redownloading the JAR file but still no luck. Even at the login screen I would lagg like hell. Is there anyone else that is suffering through the same issue?

Is your CPU or RAM usage unreasonably high in task manager (or whatever equivalent for your operating system)? If it’s CPU, your pc may be a potato or you might need to close some stuff. If RAM, again try closing stuff or if you PM me I can send you a link to a Microsoft program I use for freeing up RAM. If neither of those things, no clue sorry brother maybe someone else will have a better idea

welp, that's not it. I could play pkhonor just fine 2-3 months ago. I play other games too such as rust, rocket league, cs go, osrs and they run completely fine.

Just to rule it out, try updating your graphic driver also. It shouldn't really have that big of an affect since this is a 2007 Java game. You can also list specs and that would help also in identifying the problen

Graphics driver is up to date. I'm using a laptop, Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 4600H
RAM: 8.0GB DDR4-3200 DDR4
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6
