1. What do I need to start Fletching?
You start fletching by having a knife in your inventory, and some regular logs to cut. Use the knife with the log to either make a Shortbow or arrowshafts for the first few levels!
2. How do I make bows?
You make bows by using a knife on a log, and choose wich bow you want to make.
Shortbow (u) - Level 1 - 1,200xp
Longbow (u) - Level 5 - 1,300xp
Oak shortbow (u) - Level 20 - 2,000xp
Oak Longbow (u) - Level 25 - 2,200xp
Willow Shortbow (u) - Level 35 - 2,400xp
Willow longbow (u) - Level 40 - 2,700xp
Maple shortbow (u) - Level 50- 3,200xp
Maple longbow (u) - Level 55 - 3,600xp
Yew shortbow (u) - Level 65 - 4,000xp
Yew longbow (u) - Level 70 - 4,500xp
Magic shortbow (u) - Level 80 - 5,000xp
Magic longbow (u) - Level 85 - 5,600xp
If you want to make them into acutal usable bows, pick some flax from the woodcutting tele, and craft them into bowstrings.
3. How do I make arrows?
First of all, This is not recommended if you're training your level to 99.
You by using a knife on a log, to make arrowshafts.
1 Log makes 15 arrows shafts - 100xp.
Where do I get feathers? The crafting shop.
Combine arrow shafts with feathers to make headless arrows
Use any arrow tip with the headless arrows to make the actuall arrows.
Bronze arrows - Level 1 - 60xp per arrow
Iron arrows - Level 15 - 120xp per arrow
Steel arrows - Level 30 - 180xp per arrow
Mithril arrows - Level 45 - 230xp per arrow
Adamant arrows - Level 60 - 1,000xp per arrow
Rune arrows - Level 75 - 1,500xp per arrow
4. How do I make bolts?
Cut a gem into bolttips, and combie them with bolts to make the bolts you want.
Opal bolttips - Bronze bolts - Level 11 - Per 10 gembolts - 2,000xp
Jade bolttips - Blurite bolts - Level 26 - Per 10 gembolts - 3,000xp
Red topaz bolttips - Steel bolts - Level 48 - Per 10 gembolts - 4,000xp
Saphire bolttips - Mithril bolts - Level 56 - Per 10 gembolts - 5,000xp
Emerald bolttips - Mithril bolts - Level 58 - Per 10 gembolts - 7,000xp
Ruby bolttips - Adamant bolts - Level 63 - Per 10 gembolts - 9,000xp

5. How do I make a rune crossbow for the achievment?
Make a yew stock out of a yew log.
Combine it with a runite limb, wich is found in the general shop.
Plant any tree, cut it and take the tree roots, by using a spade on the tree stump when the tree is chopped.
Use the tree root in the spinning wheel at the crafting guild at second floor.
Combine the unfinished rune crossbow with the bowstring to make a Rune crossbow!
6. Helpful Information
If you're only going for level 99 fletching, I would suggest you to only make the unfinished bows, because they are the fastest xp/h.
If you're going for 2b fletching, I would suggest you to make diamond bolt tips, as it gives alot of magic xp, and fletching xp.
