from the sounds of things it sounds like will made these merches after the fact it was made public this would be an event, if rambo hits, cole, bloated face or any of those other high tier merchers new about it theyd do it it do. it more sounds like he saw the public information and was the first one to take advantage of it, sure not everyone like merchers but its the way of the game for like 40% of the eco

There are players that genuinely want to help out and improve the server, like @Monys who drafted an entire post just to realize this event. Taking ideas and suggestions into account requires trust from the staff. Using the trust to your own advantage is a shitty thing to do. It might not be breaking any rules, but it's definitely something that says a lot about you.

This... and yes monys had drafted the outline for it, I too had also drafted one not even a month agoe recommending this event. Me merching has nothing to do with me recommending this event. I thought it would be a good positive event for the entire community which I stand by. Had I not merched these items someone else would have, had I not suggested this event but it still came to light I would have done the same thing. I didn’t do anything wrong or unethical, I didn’t even buy items until after it was publicly announced??? So tell me how I have done wrong.

Also If your read my post carefully I had asked for any event, any community event would have been awesome! I suggested Corp because it’s my favourite boss to do. And it was a 1 sentence suggestion at the end.

Just saying, he's been doing that for the longest time, and I even called it out about him but everyone thought it was just because I didn't like him. Most of his suggestions just benefit himself and if anything goes against his needs he'll not support it, even if it's better for the game

I wanted the event to pvm, to have a reason to play, Which is why I’m currently rank 2 for the leaderboards, I wanted the event so everyone had a reason to play, when was the last time you seen bones pvming? Yet he’s rank 1 atm... even 99 skillz said today “wow I finally have a reason to play on this account”. BECAUSE OF THE EVENT I SUGGESTED. I made 1.5T in a month merching with no events, why tf would I need an event to make money merching?

In the original post, you suggested Corporeal Beast event. So your claim that you didn't care what event we would get is false.

If you suggested that particular event just to profit from it, then your suggestion is dubious. There is something to be said about suggesting something for the sheer joy of it vs. meeting a very basal end on your part. And that only to make you slightly richer.

So it's not that your motivation was enormously sinister, but that it was so petty. All this is of course predicated on the fact that you did suggest this for purely selfish reasons.
