Should UIM players be able to participate in bonus XP events?

Ever since the release of the UIM, this game mode was excluded from participating in bonus XP events. We did so in order to make the highscores competition fair for all those who play this game mode.

However, it's been quite some time since the release of this game mode. Therefore, we want to ask the community if they feel like UIM should now be included in all bonus XP events from now on. My apologies that we're holding this poll so close to the upcoming +50% XP weekend, my preoccupation with the Chambers of Xeric has made the bonus XP event slip from my mind.

Whether UIM are allowed to participate in this event and in future bonus XP events is up to the community, so please let us know what you think.

If every UIM has access to bonus XP then the highscore competition is fair. I don't see a reason UIM shouldn't have access to bonus XP events. This is an RSPS where it should be exponentially easier for all players, not just certain types of players.

Don't you think it's already incredibly difficult to get 200m cons on an ironman? Try that on an UIM... I don't think you appreciate the difficulty because you haven't played it.............

True, but at the same time some people can play on certain weekends while others cannot, so if you miss out on a double cooking/fishing XP weekend, suddenly you find yourself way behind the other competitive players on the highscores.

But then, maybe we're overthinking things. In the end, it really is up to the community to decide what is to be done about these things.

You could say that about everything in life. If a player is a child and can only play one hour a day then they miss out on all those potential hours. Suddenly that child finds themselves way behind other players on the highscores.

You could swap the child scenario for an adult that has a busy work schedule and can only play on the weekends. Then they miss out on all the potential hours during the week.

Decisions shouldn't be based on the fact that certain players may or may not be able to play on specific days.

Just remove experience points from the game so all players are on equal footing...
