Mike wrote: Sat Jul 11, 2020 3:21 pm Update: since I haven't managed to fix all the bugs yet, and new bugs are still being reported, I have decided to extend the bughunter contest with another 7 days. I've also fixed all the bugs that have been reported, but you will have to download a new testclient at https://client.pkhonor.net/PkHonor_testclient.zip in order to play on the test server (and test the bugfixes).

Bugs that have been fixed (but should be tested again):
- All attack animations, hunter animations, NPC animations and vengeance animation have been fixed
- The gap in the hedge at the woodcutting skilling area has been fixed so you can pass through it again
- The client no longer crashes when entering the Nylocas room in ToB
- You will now properly walk toward the pest control portals when attacking them
- You can enter the Nex and Saradomin rooms again at GWD
- You can no longer operate levers at a distance

Bughunter contest points awarded:
Thierryu1 (missing IGN) - 2 points for broken animations
Bzink00 (missing IGN) - 2 points for not being able to walk through the hedge at the woodcutting skilling area
Donut man1 (luky911) - 2 points for not being able to properly walk towards PC portals
Donut man1 (luky911) - 3 points for not being able to enter Nex or Saradomin room at GWD
Thierryu1 (missing IGN) - 4 points for client crashing at Nylocas room in ToB
Thierryu1 (missing IGN) - 3 points for being able to operate levers at a distance
Joepie (missing IGN) - 1 point for bugged vengeance animation

I can't find any such "random ledges" at the crafting guild. Is it possible to post a screenshot where they are clearly visible?

Thank you for reporting this bug, although Chambers of Xeric is still a work in progress and is actually not a part of the upcoming update, therefore no points are awarded for any CoX-related bugs that are reported in this contest. The reason you can access CoX on the testserver is because the minigame has been enabled on that server for developing purposes.

Fixing the lava dragon models requires us to have an additional texture inside the client, one we don't have. Textures are not included in OSRS cache dumps (or they aren't correctly loaded by the client, anyway), unlike maps, animations and models for items, NPC's and objects. I haven't managed to fix this one yet, but this is something we'll probably want to tackle in a future update. I'm sure it can be done, I just don't know how (yet).

Missing In-game Name. Meaning I still need a username from most of the contestants where I should add the credits at the end of the contest.

This is not a test server problem. This is also on the normal server a problem for a long time. Has been reported by @Respire1337

Thanks for reporting the giant mole bug, fixed now. However, I tested this on the live server and it's also a bug there, so sadly I could not award any points for this.

As for managing to crash the test server, can you once again send me the information on how you managed to crash the test server exactly (preferably through forums PM)? I thought I knew how it was done, but my attempts at reproducing the crash have not been successful so far.

[Edit] Thank you for the additional info, I have managed to crash the test server myself with the method you have given me. I've granted an additional 5 points considering this is indeed a game-breaking bug that can be used to not only crash the server but keep it offline until we manually restart it. I've fixed the bug now. Please do try to crash it again using this method if possible, just to be 100% sure it's fixed now (additional points will be awarded if the bug has not been properly fixed yet).
