What exactly did you delete? just the jar or the Pkhonor install? You need to delete the cache.

No, forums passwords are different than ingame ones. You can still change your ingame one through the user control panel if you have linked it to your email. Use this guide: https://wiki.pkhonor.net/info/account_recoveryGreenphatguy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 1:47 am okay, so the portable one finally updated, now i just need to change my password, does changing the password for the forums work for ingame?
Otherwise you will have to post a recovery thread here: viewforum.php?f=58

That's right let me rephrase myself, the cache used to automatically update and download.Iron adam wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 1:44 amNot all versions did. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=75288Justin wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 1:39 amPretty sure the client already automatically updated in 2010Iron adam wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 1:37 am sounds like you last played before they added the auto updating client. Back then for an actual client update you had to download the new version.
But then redownloading as he did would have resolved his issue.

Re: Keeps saying failed too many attempts?
It looks like something went wrong with updating your client. The server rejected all your logins because your client was outdated. I'm not entirely sure why it was showing you the wrong message. It might just be because the client was outdated. If the login error codes were changed in a later update then an old client would misinterpret them. Ordinarily this is not a problem since all clients should auto-update upon launching.
Why your client didn't update itself I do not know. We can investigate that further if you want, but it would require some testing on your part so now that your problem is solved I'm not sure you want to bother. Your call.
