Yo! Been a while. Congrats first of all. I'm excited for you.

Sadly I had to take one more semester, I decided to double major and get a minor in stats. Im applying this fall, prolly to UCDavis, UCSB, Caltech, WashU, Northwestern, John's Hopkins, Vanderbilt, UVA, UNC, Princeton (for shits), and like one other I'm forgetting. I'll letcha know when I know

Just been doing research and stuff instead. Circulating a draft of my paper to my collaboration and submitting to ApJ in September

Do you know what kind of research you're getting into? Itd be cool to run into you at a conference or something, but I'm mostly sticking to astro/cosmological sims

Ah yeah I saw your message when I signed in yesterday but figured I could strike up a conversation here instead ha. No shame in taking an extra semester, I almost did that to finish my double in math but I just made my senior year hell instead. Worked out, my grades just dropped a bit lol. You should check out Iowa state though, quite a good program here

Not 100% sure what I'll focus on yet, over the summer I worked on the outer hcal of the sphenix experiment at BNL, which is in the nuclear physics field. I know for sure I'll be in the nuclear/particle field though.
