Coming up next: looting bag & permanent bank placeholders

In the past week, I've managed to add permanent bank placeholders, similar to what OSRS has. I've added a simple 'lock' button at the bottom of the bank interface, which will lock or unlock permanent placeholders. Right-clicking the button and selecting 'release all placeholders' will remove all placeholders you currently have in your bank.

This feature has been fully implemented and will surely help with organizing your bank, especially when loading presets.


I've decided to release this together with the looting bag, a feature that has long been requested but was quite a technical challenge. However, I've already managed to make some good progress and I'm hoping to get it finished within the next week. I also decided to add the looting bag features that OSRS had recently introduced sometime in August, with the 'Open' option which makes every item you pick up inside the wilderness go automatically into the bag.


Looting bag todo list:
  • Add looting bag to the NPC droptable
  • Add all necessary restrictions
  • Testing, testing, testing

Looting bag done:
  • Add client-sided interfaces for checking, depositing and banking items
  • Allow players to check the contents of a looting bag
  • Allow players to use an item on the looting bag to put it inside the bag
  • Allow players to use the 'deposit' interface to add items from their inventory into the bag
  • Add the option to always deposit as many of an item as possible when using an item on the bag, instead of asking them how many to deposit
  • Add the 'destroy' option to destroy the bag & drop the content on the floor (does not work in combat when the bag value is over 1M, similar to dropping regular items)
  • Add the 'open' and 'close' options, where an open bag automatically adds all picked up items into the bag
  • Allow players to bank items from the looting bag
  • Add the 'bank all' button
  • Destroy the bag & drop the contents on the floor when a player dies

Looks great

With the addition of the looting bag, will UIM be following? If I recall it was postponed because the looting bag is an important part of that game mode.

Looting bag, rune pouch and menagerie in a player-owned house, along with one more feature (yet to be announced) that allows for inventory enhancement. Then we can finally get UIM underway.

Looking great Mike, nice work.
When you open the looting bag interface, does it always show the guide price for what you have in the bag? Not just K,M,B , but the exact value, like : 1,750,002 ( that would be torture amulet and 2 gp cash)?

Our prices are a bit broad for that

Also: ayyyy i see that zammy hawk any chance the god birds come into the game?

Nice updates, ecstatic to see the looting bag being added.

Rune pouch, gmaul fix, and mage/prayer book switch and we're over the moon.
