So you want to fight the Corporeal Beast.
First off an apology- I can't for whatever reason set specific font sizes, so excuse the ugly layout.
You're going to need a few specific items - and you'll need to be premium.
I also wouldn't even bother attempting this unless you are maxed out with atleast piety. Curses really help, too.
This is not a guide for soloing. I recommend a minimum of at least yourself and a partner. A group of 3 works well too!
The Zamorakian Spear. It is super effective against corp.
It can be bought for around 700m from players or dropped from Zamorakian GWD.
Why is it super effective? Because.
Edit: Thanks to Quasimoto for this information.
You can use other stab weapons but they are only 50% effective, as implemented by Mike!
Overloads and super prayer potions
Generally these are required as overloads provide great damage bonuses and automatically re-boost your stats after a brew.
Super prayers are self explanatory. Less space wasted on ppots.
Inventory setup
It's real simple - aim for this. If you can improve (Torva, etc) go ahead!
The reason you take rocktails and brews is that corp can rapidly melee hit for over 50.
This means you cannot keep up with just brews and sometimes are required to shark-brew (but rocktail, duh)
How you do this is drink 2 brews then eat a rocktail. Repeat until no longer being slapped to death.
Tactics / how to
Corp is actually a really simple fight - just pray mage and keep your hp as high as possible.
The one 'advanced' (but not really) tactic that I employ is that if i'm in a duo we will stand at either side of corp so that he spends a lot of time spinning, changing targets. The difference is quite significant and can save you a lot of supplies.
To get to corp hit your premium teleport and choose premium island.
He's just inside there - but beware, he will attack immediately.
To leave after fighting him you can click the gate inside for an instant teleport out.
Drops/Rewards
Ultra rare drops (Between 0.1 - 1% drop rate)
Arcane Sigil
Divine Sigil
Elysian Sigil
Spectral Sigil
Baby Corporeal Beast
Very Rare drops (Between 0.5 - 1% drop rate)
Uncut Onyx
Rare drops (Between 2% and 5% drop rate)
Holy Elixir
Spirit Shield
Corp also drops a bunch of other bolts, gems, planks, potions etc
So yeah - just a very basic guide. Hope its useful.
Any updates/recommendations let me know.
Thanks for reading.

Nice guide. You forgot to mention spirit shield as drop.

Nice guide.
Only thing I'd change is the fact that b gloves/brawlers are better than d gloves. But everything else, nice.

Haha yeah I felt nooby taking that screenshot without barrows gloves but i'm saving up pkp and lost my last pair due to a DC and my buy offer on the ge is having no luck. Might just spend the few pkp for a new pair. :p

Try this for the sizes (quote then copy&paste):
Code: Select all

I wish that was the case but its actually just a case of ZS having a flat damage and accuracy bonus against corp. No idea why.

that's true but mike also made any non-spear weapon have 50% damage to corp
