You're missing the point. He means that for example I get my mahogony planks and gold leafs now and get 99 con with the double exp weekend which happens in a few weeks/months.[/quote]

Well we have only had 3 extra xp events. Last one was in October. So if your really going to wait that long for 99 con, seems like you just being lazy. But it is helpful for going for 200m con like Purp, he had close to a 1/3 of 200m con mats. But I doubt people will wait a couple of months for a short weekend.

As an ironman, no, I play ironman mode to add challenge to a game that has become stale after over a decade of continuous play. Part of that challenge would be negated by giving us these extra exp events. I know plenty of other ironmen who play IMM for the added challenge as well.

What's the point of a self-sufficent account if you're going to get help by all theese events? It would certainly not create more competition. If you were after creating competition, you should've made the gameplay harder and more time consuming than it already is.
