3s would be perfect, but instead of making it a set time before YOU can place another one anywhere it should instead be before ANYONE can place another in the same spot. As it stands, it sounds as if you could still spam barricades as long as you have multiple people doing it. This issue could even be fixed just by forcing you to walk in any possible direction after placing a barricade so you can't spam them in one spot; if no spot is available to walk on, just prevent the player placing one.

Whilst we're on the topic of barricades, does anyone know if setting them alight works properly? It should render them untouchable (by explosive pots or damage) and unpassable for approximately 3s.

10 seconds is fine... Only reason you want it to 3-4 is because you cade spam yourself lol...
It makes certain mechanics and legitimate tactics completely useless; before, a well-timed dragon spear could push someone away from a previously blocked entrance and allow you to replace it in time. Now you have to hope you catch a lucky freeze. Stalling tactics simply won't work as they should. It makes Castle Wars way more luck and way less skill dependent. It also prevents me from realising an opponent has recently picked up the flag and attempting to counterplay by placing strategically placing barricades to slow them down. Once again, I must now rely on lucky freezes.

A 10s timer makes attacking significantly easier; escapes requires far less timing and precision and forces the defending team to hope the attacker just didn't have any barricades. In small games, such as 2v2, this changes the playstyle completely because attackers have a huge advantage; assuming one defender, they can't effectively use barricades to stop you anymore. They have to rely on freezes.

*Note: I understand Mike said no arguing, which is why I've ensured my comments are more of the opening to a discussion; they aren't flaming anybody, they're just to give my opinion on the matter with a bit of explanation too.

Looks pretty good Mike. Here was a small poll taken for the barricades debate. viewtopic.php?f=73&t=52468&hilit=barricades

Okay I made a small mistake (on here, not in the code) - I had put the timer on 6 seconds, but I thought I had put it at 10. I must have had originally 10s in mind but changed it to 6s and forgot about that change.

Sooo yeah, until I change the timer, it's 6 seconds. You're welcome.

The event hasn't even started yet lol. Also, bc solo is like 1b/h..idk how 120% of that is 1.5b
