Stub guide - Agility rates with spottier cape and brawlers

I'm not amazing at making guides, and I'm not going to try and make it look pretty, it is just that I have had a look at other agility guides and they don't even mention the spottier cape or the brawlers gloves, those are of course mentioned in other guides but I think that this should be listed for players looking to reach 2B EXP etc.

Here are the normal rates for a player wearing nothing going around the gnome agility course:

Bonus EXP while wearing JUST spottier cape

The spottier cape is an item you can make from leveling hunter, you can check the hunter guide for information on how to make it. The spottier cape gives the player 70% increased agility EXP and is for donators+ only.

Here are the increased rates for wearing JUST the spottier cape while doing one full round of the gnome agility course:

The brawlers gloves are very expensive, they require 99 construction, 345m and 500 PkHonor points (PkP) and offer a 30% increase of EXP gain. They can be bought from the estate agent next to the PoH portal at ::Home

As you can see, the spottier capes rates are much better and from such cheap equipment that pretty much everyone has access to, I would recommend just buying the cape if you wanted to reach 99 and be done with the skill, however the brawlers, as expensive as they are, have some pretty big advantages if you want to hit the EXP limit of 2b

Black widows

So black widows are butterflys that exist within the game, they can be found at skilling>hunter>jungle/implings. To receive agility EXP you need to catch them bare handed. Here are their EXP rates and average catch time:

75000 no bonus EXP
97500 with brawlers
127500 with spottier cape
150000 with both spottier cape and brawlers

Here is a list of seconds taken to catch the imps from the last 10 instances:

Rough average: 10.3 seconds to catch a black widow butterfly. As you can see, the catch time is very RNG and to calculate an Xp/h rate is a little hard.

Feel free to use this in any guides you make regarding agility, or to update and correct the guide if it is missing information or has out dated rates.

Cool, but you should include catching black warlocks on here. They are equal, if not more xp/hr compared to wildy for post-99 xp, and also give you hunter xp.

I had forgotten about the wildy agility zone, since you only need to bring 2 items it is very safe to train.

But what do you mean about the black warlocks? They are the butterflys at the hunting zone right?

Yes, jungle/impling area catch them barehanded and it's like 110k agility with no bonuses

Nice info. For the people wanting to train agility at wilderness agility area, you can do that in oldschool wilderness as well so you will not get killed. Don't think you can bring spoiler cape and brawlers there so this is only advised for people who don't have these items yet.
