Today's update features a complete rework of the User Control Panel. Many of the changes took place "under the hood", but those will enable us to release new website features a lot faster in the future. Here are some of the more noticeable changes:
There's a new registration page, which is far more user friendly than the previous one.
The UCP now allows you to set recovery e-mail addresses for your linked accounts. Setting a recovery e-mail address requires you to authenticate the game account. As I'm sure many of you will be happy to hear, most of the annoying timers have been removed.
Of course that wouldn't be much use without a way to recover your password / bank pin automatically.
Clicking an account in the UCP overview will open a details page which includes your account logs. Mine are rather empty, but these logs include all important things that happen to your account: punishments, pass/pin changes, link actions, ...
This is also the place from which you can recover your game account.
Oh and there's one more website feature. When you receive a PM on the forums, all your linked accounts that are currently online in game will receive a notification and can launch the PM directly from their game client. (Provided they can log in to your forums account, of course.)
Furthermore, as you may well remember, we had promised to bring weekly events to PkHonor. This weekend from Friday 10PM CET until Monday 4AM, we'll be holding a GodWars event!
What this means:
- All droprates (including clue scroll drops) of
all monsters inside the GWD are +20%
- Everyone will be able to access to the GodWars dungeon, even without the strength and agility level you normally require
- All of the rooms (including the Nex room) require no killcount whatsoever to enter. However, you can only enter the Nex room if you've completed The Last Journey quest.
Time until the GodWars Dungeon event is over:
Even though we had estimated earlier that Bounty Hunter should be released sometime early this week, we haven't been able to finish up all our work yet. We're hoping for a release tomorrow but that's only if nothing else gets in the way.
Either way, at least we're happy to keep on delivering weekly updates and will do our best to keep that up
