Updated on 24 April 2015
- The Dragon Claws special attack has been slightly rebalanced, its accuracy has been slightly increased (+10%), while the damage on the last hit has been decreased (-30%) and the damage on the first 3 hits slightly increased (+20%). On average, the claws will still hit about the same (maybe a tiny bit more), but the hits will be less severe.
- Fixed a small bug where chocolate kebbits could be killed by cannons
- Fixed a bug where exploding glacytes and exploding glacors could damage a morphed player or a moderator on modwild.
- As of now, you can no longer use any of the animations in the wilderness or duel arena of event-related items. These do not cause a player to get hit more or less, but can be used to confuse players.
- Fixed a minor bug with Glacyte despawning and respawning

- Fixed autokeep items still being lost on death (such as easter event rewards). If you lost an easter event reward before the update, please let us know
- Fixed the locations of kebbits so they can always be used
- Slightly increased the rate at which easter eggs spawn
- Fixed the level requirements of Steadfast, Glaiven and Ragefire boots (they require 85 defence and 75 att/range/mage level but didn't require any levels before)
- Fixed a few minor bugs as reported in the in-game glitch report section
Updated on 17 April 2015
- Easter event released, talk to the easter bunny West of the Varrock square to know what to do!
- Glacors released!
You can find these at the West side of the wilderness, as indicated by the red square on this map:
There is also one single glacor in the Donator Slayer Cave just past the abyssal demons, which is only accessible to donators through the Portal Room in your Player-Owned House.
Glacors work in pretty much the same way as on RuneScape (see
http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Glacor ), meaning the glacor can freeze you for a few seconds (magic protection prayers counter this), protection prayers only reduce damage by 50%, it has a special attack that deals 50% of your current hitpoints if you don't move out of the way and 3 glacytes will spawn when the glacor reaches half hitpoints, after which the glacor becomes invulnerable until the glacytes are killed. Each glacyte has its own ability (enduring glacyte will only be dealt 30% damage, unstable glacyte can explode and sapping glacyte drains your prayer) and the glacor inherits the effect of the last killed glacyte.
The only actual difference between our glacors and the ones on runescape is that the damage reduction to an enduring glacyte does
not depend on how far the glacyte is from the glacor (it's always 70% reduced).
Glacors hover, meaning they are not obstructed by terrain and cannot be safespotted. Not to worry, we've made sure that the drops will always end up in a spot where you can reach it (we also applied this to the WildyWyrm clue scroll drops).
The most important drops for the Glacors are the Steadfast, Ragefire and Glaiven boots, with their stats as following:
Steadfast boots: +3 stab att, +3 slash att, +3 crush att, -4 magic att, -1 ranged att, +20 stab def, +21 slash def, +22 crush def, +5 strength
Ragefire boots: -12 magic att, +10 magic def, +4 stab def, +5 slash def, +6 crush def, +6 magic def, +4 ranged def
Glaiven boots: +7 magic att, +7 magic def
The glacor also drops choc-ice , which heals the same amount as rocktails (23), but can give your hitpoints a boost of 11 (rocktails give a max boost of 10).
- Introduction of the Perfect Ring.
This ring can only be made by combining an ice, blood, smoke and shadow diamond, which are dropped by Glacors, WildyWyrm, Chaos Elemental and King Black Dragon respectively. To make the ring, use one of the diamonds on a furnace while having a ring mould and gold bar in your inventory. The diamonds and the ring are tradeable.
Whenever you gain PkHonor Points, Pest Control Points, Slayer points, Morph ring charges or Castle Wars tickets while wearing the perfect ring, there is a 10% chance that you will receive double points or tickets instead. This stacks with the bonuses from events and also applies to PkHonor Points and Pest Control Points gained from killing the WildyWyrm.
This ring also offers the following stats: +6 melee attack, +6 ranged attack, +6 magic attack, +6 melee defence, +6 ranged defence, +6 magic defence and +6 strength. It does not have a prayer bonus.
- Addition of the command ::events to see which events are currently ongoing or scheduled (does not apply to PC/CW events manually enabled by our admins)
- As of now, it's impossible to switch teams in Castle Wars before the end of a game
- Ex-ex-parrots no longer disappear on death
- Fixed the voting points in players their bookcase
- Further improved our bot detection system from the previous update. As of now, it's pretty much impossible (or at least extremely hard) to avoid being detected.
- Fixed the ranged defence stats of the battle-mage gloves (which is now 6 - 12 instead of 0 - 1, depending on your charges). Also fixed the melee defence stats of trickster gloves (90% charged) to be +12 instead of +13.
There are probably also some other small changes and bugfixes that I forgot to mention, but if you notice them, feel free to point them out so I can update this thread.
We're currently also working out the last things on bounty hunter, which will be released shortly. Once that's done, we'll be focusing on scheduled automated events as announced earlier (which will then also show up in ::events).
Enjoy!
