Trade secret. Right now, there is a very small % chance to get the 500 points each time you vote.
However, in the next server update I'll most likely change it as such that once a day, a random player (who voted recently) is chosen and they get the 500 vote points. This will obviously be accompanied by a server yell. This should help stimulate people (including new players) to vote more often, get us higher on toplists and get us more players.

As far as voting more than once per 12 hours goes, yes you can use a VPN, and yes you'll get diminished rewards each time you vote (to keep it fair), but we don't officially support it. The only two reasons it can be done is because it doesn't hurt our server in any way (duh) and there isn't much we - or RuneLocus - can do about it anyway.

Should honestly inergrate it so that the ones who vote frequently have more of a chance than a person who votes for the first time.
By the current rate you explained, its basically a lottery as to who gets it. So a player who might play a week then quit has the same potential as a player who has voted everyday for the past 2 or more years, seems a little counter productive . That, and it being a lottery, there's no idea as to if a long time voter will even have the chance of receiving the 500 point deficit. If someone issues a new account with a VPN daily, they could actually farm enough points to accumulate massive money in game just via voting points. Meh.

Mike why not make different Vote Bonuses?

::myvotecount ::myvotes or something like that wich tells you "You have voted x times for PkHonor!"

For every 10 times you vote, you get 25 points extra?

This sounds more reasonable, and nearly impossible to tamper with.

Gives more rewards to those who use VPNs. If the bonuses come from voting X days in a row, then it doesn't matter if you use a VPN or not because only one vote per 24H will count towards the streak.
