I am quite skeptical of this Billy but I trust Rapsey enough to know that he will do just fine.

For starters, we've hereby decided to introduce the new title of ex-staff. This title will be given to any moderators or administrators who resign or are demoted due to inactivity and who have been with us for quite some time (at least 6 months, but we haven't made a final decision on the minimum required time yet). People who have been staff member before the introduction of the title will not receive it, so please don't ask. Obviously, any staff who are demoted for abuse will not receive it either.
So far, Daan is the first person to receive the title.

Does this mean I get the Ex-staff rank in-game aswell ? (::giveexstaff, with the eagle crown I think). If so I'd like to have it on the account "Gl im Daan".

Could a staff member forward this message to Mike because I can't pm him anymore

I haven't had but a singular forum-message ''conversation'' with Billy, but it was enough for me to have faith in him.

Trying not to be negative here, but have you not learned your lesson with hiring new people?

Just to be clear, I'm saying this off off past experiences, the whole web developer didn't go to well, did it?



With that being said, I wish him the best of luck.

Even though they do in fact know him in real life, they didn't make the mistake of having Billy introduce himself as the new staff manager, as the former web developer did.

I have more good news from this post though, from this day forth, I will become more active in-game and help around everywhere I can.

I talked to Billy for a good 3-4 hours the other day.

I was extremely dubious with this decision, but after talking to him, and going through as much as I could... I think he will do fantastically. I've pointed of the mistakes of our former staff managers to him, especially the main ones, and he's already made a list of priorities to tackle once he's fully settled in.

I ask that you guys give him the chance he deserves, and view him with an open mind. It'll work wonders. =)
