Wondering what happened with turning into an animal in the waiting room?

In a previous thread it was said that a piece of a god armor would transform you (in real rs it works with unholy or holy symbol I believe). I tried all the pieces I have in my inventory. Am I missing something?

I want Mike to fix the bugs that are more severe that can be abused, unlike this.

I see. I am able to transform now. However, the unholy book does not work for zamorak portal.
Plus when I was trying this I saw I was wearing a saradomin banner without wearing one... I couldn't unwear it as well. Visual glitch

I assume you had one wielded at the end of the last game.

You also could not turn into animals whilst wearing your own teams armour, I think.
