- No. Same for question 2. If a game is already in progress, you cannot automatically join that game. You'd have to enter the portal, into the lobby, and wait for another game to start.

Yes you can, if someone leaves/logs out, a option interface gets spread to ALL the members in the waiting room of that team. The first one to click join gets to participate in the game.

If no one is in the waiting area, and someone joins shortly after the join the waiting area they get the option.
