Yell channel: what shouldn't be allowed?

Could make it so only Staff and people who have actually donated money for the status instead of purchasing in-game can yell.

That way the channel still stays for probably 30% of the Server's player-base and people won't want to fuck around as much because why spend $40 or so on a rank, and ruin the best thing about it = the ability to Yell.

All though this might be bias because I don't want to lose yell and I've already donated more then the amount for my status so this way I can suggest majority of the people lose it while I get to keep it :orly: :orly: :orly: :orly: :orly:

How about we go back to requiring a minimum skillset requirement to yell? That'd be cool. I remember when yelling was free, all you had to do to yell was get crafting and thieving to 99.

Nah, the problem with the yell channel in it's entirety is that people are inconsistently punished, and as a result, don't care for punishment because they feel as though it is not justified. Consequently, they're less obedient to the "rules", because the rules simply don't seem to exist.

So let's tackle the problem instead why don't we.

I'll update with what I think the rules should be later.
I'm gonna have to agree with this. Fix it, don't just throw it away.

If any of those rules are implemented, you might as well change the name of the server to a witty pun regarding a concentration camp.

People have the ability to place "x" user on ignore list or toggle ::yell off
it's not hard? i can tell you're an american. Grow a pair and realize it's the internet and nothing mike does will change the communities behavior

I've been saying this weeks prior to my promotion, probably even within the first couple weeks that I played. It's not a new thing that I've been saying. I've been saying it for quite some time now.

I'd probably (if still playing the game) be okay with the loss of yell. It would give clan chats more of a purpose. It would move pointless fights, and flaming out of the eyes of new players who see it and then leave. I do believe I suggested the removal of yell and everyone's excuse was "it's a major perk for donator's and Prem's" Which, yes, it is but so are a lot of other things. I'd rather join a "Trade" CC, or a "PK" CC. I find those a lot more fun personally.. Keeping the yell system for more important information that Moderators+ would use it for.

Moderators, get ready for the flame that this post is about to cause. Here at PKH, no ones opinion is truly allowed unless it's the 'right' one.

Then the cc's will blow up and we will have that new problem I like these punishment sets pepople just need to respect eachother or suffer the consequences MOD MUST ISSUE A WARNING BEFORE THEY MUTE WITH SUCH SEVEAR PUNISHMENTS THO
