As most of you know by now the server has been suffering ongoing DDoS attacks for the past 24h. This is almost certainly because RuneLocus has selected us as Server of the Week due to the vote store update, so one of the other top servers is paying a DDoS-for-hire service to make sure those new players don't go to us. There is also a ransom demand from the DDoS-for-hire guys but we don't think it would be a good idea to pay up, because the rival RSPS paying for the attacks will most likely just switch to another DDoS service.

We are doing what we can to establish a more permanent solution but for the time being the interruptions and downtime will continue. We apologize and will do our best to make up for it after the attacks are under control.

I appreciate the time and effort all of the staff members have put in over the last day or so! Your dedication to keeping us up and running doesn't go unnoticed. It's sad that when the server starts doing better that something like this could happen and throw us off course for a bit! Thank you for addressing this formally because not everybody knew what was going on at first.

hay up i lost my Salve Amulet (e) as on dddos is there a way of getting it back.

Indeed, we are the only server in the top 30 that has a positive vote difference between last month and this month so far. It's no wonder we got server of the week!
