The servers might be getting shut down, or you can give the rights to the serverto Jagex to host it on project zanaris servers. Mike would still be the owner and main developer, but the rights would be owned by Jagex. Most developers are in the OSRS official discord, and Jmods actively speak in the old-school sub-section in the discord regarding topics like this. For all we know, they might sell bonds to developers at a discounted rate, and their job is to host events for these bonds that xfer into membership for runescape itself. Donations in the servers, devs would be given commission instead of full payments, and best part is the devs would have their own sub-section in discord to help each other with any issues any one of them would have, including the help and experience of Jmods hired for only project zanaris.

Not only would pkhonor live on taking that route if its given as an option, but having 500+ players again, fresh started essentially, pkhonor would be a thriving server once again just like it used to be.

Currently the remainer of players are all maxed, comped, and theres no reason to kill anything in hopes to sell anything because everyone owns everything already, and theres no point, which is why everyone high alchs everything. But like I said, it has potential, and it will become a huge server once again if offered up to project zanaris.

You’re free to rebuild PkHonor in the framework of Jagex’s engine if you think it’s a very good idea worth pursuing. We will be here the day they stop wholeheartedly supporting the endeavor and cut everyone’s source and database access, if anyone is getting source and database access in the first place

500 players after the current count would be difficult to handle... We've got so many weird rules and a hierarchy molded by like 15 years of action that I can't imagine why Jagex would endorse us instead of taking everything and just making it available to whoever wants.

I think there would need to be some major staff changes to handle 20x the current player count. Right now the distribution of responsibilities per mod is completely different from when we had 500+ online. It would likely be overwhelming to figure out where to direct effort and how to re-prioritize things. Not to mention, I doubt there'd be the system for logs as the staff team has now, so the ability to handle the same tasks and enforce the same rules is gone.

Super curious where the lawsuit is so far and if devs and owners are even still coding for the game.
