so one hobby I picked up when I stopped playing PkHonor for a while was grilling, and people have told me I've gotten pretty good, let me know what you guys think
•Picking your steak
A nice ribeye will have a nice marble on it, this just means that there's fat in-bedded within the meat of the steak
•Preheat seasoning
It's important that before you throw your steak on the grill to let it come up to room temp, your choice of seasoning is optional, but I use sea salt and a bbq mix that includes brown sugar. Personally I like to add my other mix that includes ground black pepper right before I sear it, I don't like the burnt pieces it gives if you put it on the grill with the pepper.
•Placement
When going for a reverse sear it's better to put it off to the side so the center can heat up to about 110°-120° internal temp, use a thermometer that you can just stick in the meat to check the temp, once it hits this internal temp its time to sear. (the chicken is my meal prep for the week, typically lasts me 3-4 days, and for $3 for the pack I find it a good way to save some $)
•Searing your steak
Put your cast iron skillet directly on the fire for 5-10 minutes before putting your steak on it, it needs to be screaming hot so your steak sears correctly, I personally season one side with the mix of black pepper I mentioned earlier, throw it on the skillet season side down, and season the other side. Let it sit on the skillet for 30seconds-1minute and flip and repeat. Notice on your first flip the meat should appear to have a nice crust, this picture is before flipping at all.
•WAITING
The MOST IMPORTANT PART let your steak sit for 5-10 minutes before cutting it, this gives the meat a chance to rest and soak up and lost liquids to make it juicer, to avoid allowing it to get cold just cover it with some aluminum foil
•The crust
This is what my steak looks like once it's ready
•Doneness
I personally like mine anywhere from medium rare to medium, this is closer to the medium side, but I'll let y'all rate my steak.

Thank you
I really enjoy making these and it's even better seeing the faces of those enjoying it when I make it for them, next time I'll show y'all my smoked ribs, those are to die for. Here's a pick of the last time I did those.
Or maybe I'll show the process I do to make my tomahawks.
