About this boss
Bellock, the Crazed archaeologist is a demi-boss who resides at the Ruins south of the forgotten cemetry. (level 22 wilderness) He attacks with range & melee attacks and can perform a attack where he throws exploding books that hits in 3x3 area. If maging/ranging from a distance he will only attack with range. Bellock is unique in a way that's quite interesting, he has a variety of things he can say to his opponent during battle. Some quotes said by Bellock during the fight are "You belong in a museum" "These ruins are mine" "Taste my knowledge" "Rain of knowledge" "I'm Bellock - respect me!" and upon death, "Ow!". He drops one of the three shards needed to make the malediciton & odium ward & a nice cosmetic, the fedora. He can be assigned as a slayer task from duradel. He is an easy boss, that can provide some decent cash making it worthwhile. Ironmen and regular players alike will find he is a great way to farm hard clue scrolls & other supplies such as red dragonhide, dragon arrows, runes, cannonballs & coal.
Location

He is located at the Ruins south of the forgotten cemetry, Level 22 wilderness, and singles combat. Always be sure to bring a charged glory for teleportation out.
Getting There
Option 1: Monsters Teleport - God wars Dungeon - Run north to the shortcut - then run south (Path you take once completing the shortcut is marked blue on the maps)
Option 2: Run northwest from edgeville (orange on map)
Option 3: Pvp teleports - Black chincompas - Run southwest (red on map)

Unique Drops

Gear & Methods of killing
Note:
While on a slayer task with a slayer streak, use a slayer helmet. Damage bonuses that are provided from the slayer helm while on task scale with your current streak starting at 1 and capping at 15. So while on a task with a streak it's always recommended to use a slayer helmet.
First method: Melee. He will attack with Melee & range, pray range/melee and minimal food will be needed. He doesn't hit too hard & goes down fast.
Welfare Melee

Necklace:
Glory - fury (if replacing with a fury, be sure to bring one as your teleport out)
Ring:
Recoil - Warrior - Berserker
Gloves:
Dragon - Barrows (I wouldn't recommend slayer brawlers unless on a slayer task)
Platebody:
Rune - black d'hide top (mage def in case of pkers) - dragon - barrows
Platelegs:
Rune - dragon - barrows
Shield:
Obby shield - Dragonfireshield - Dragon defender
Medium Tier Melee

Platebody:
Barrows - Bandos
Platelegs:
Barrows - Bandos
Shield:
Dragonfire shield - Dragon defender
Weapon:
Abyssal Whip - Chaotic Rapier - Souls/Chaos
Max Tier Melee

Shield:
Dragonfire shield - Dragon defender
Cape:
Souls comp - Unholy comp
Second Method: Range. When ranging Bellock from a distance he will only attack you with range styled attacks, while praying range food will essentially only be in case of pkers & for overloading. Although I'd only recommend this setup for high tiered players with chaos + blowpipe combo, without it melee will be more efficient. Although void range with blowpipe/chaotic cbow/arma is still a very viable option as he is easy to kill & you won't take damage praying range and ranging from a distance.
High Ranging Setup

Ring:
Archers ring - Archers ring (i)
Darts:
Rune darts - Dragon darts
