Big update coming on 30 December!

Yes, we're finally doing this! After 5 months of work, everything is ready for release - we're currently still doing a few final checks and verifications to make sure everything is fine, but so far everything is looking good and the release date has been set to 30 December 2016, sometime in the afternoon (CET timezone). The exact time is yet to be determined, but see below for a rough estimate for when the server will be temporarily taken offline for the update:

The server will need to be taken offline for anytime between 1 and 3 hours - it's hard to say how long it will take our database to process the entire update since millions upon millions of rows of data have to be updated or recreated.
While the server is offline, we will automatically redirect all players to the test server, so at least they can play a bit on there and check out the new features the update brings. We'll do our best to clarify that on the test server, your account there is not linked to the production server in any way.
As soon as the update is done and the server back online, we'll redirect everyone back to the main server so they can continue playing and at last enjoy the update we have promised to bring for all this time!
