Changing how LootShare Points work

For as long as we've had the LootShare in the server, we've made it work exactly like in the actual RuneScape - whoever has the most LootShare Points always gets the drop.
Even though it makes it fair for everyone in the long run, to get guaranteed drops, it has a tendency to mess up drops for other players when people with very high LSP come around (like people who have done Nex with a clan but other members got the most expensive drops).
Therefore, I would suggest that we slightly alter the system - that instead of a guaranteed drop, having the highest LSP simply gives you the highest chance to get the drop. This chance would scale with how many LSP you have (so if a clan has a combined LSP of 2B and one of them has 1B LSP, that one person has a 50% chance to get the item. This way, at least one person with very high LSP won't get a monopoly over a boss.
For the uninformed: LootShare Points is what players get when a clan gets a drop. If a drop is worth 1.5B and there are 3 clan members nearby, 1 of them will receive the item (and his LSP will go down with 1B, or +500M - 1.5B) and the other 2 will get +500M LSP. LSP eventually degrade over time (real time, not in-game time) to 0. If you have negative LSP, it'll go up to 0 over time.
Also note: the chance I speak of is simply the chance of any individual player in a clan to be the one person to receive a drop. This has nothing to do with whether or not the NPC actually drops an item.
Thoughts?
