Updated on 18 June 2016
> Fixed the bug that caused Pest Control pests to spawn at the main island
> Slightly reduced the amount of pests that initially spawn at the start of the game
> As of now, if you're in the boat but a game is still ongoing, you'll get the see the status of the game (void knight & portals health) so you can estimate how long until it's over and you can join the next game. When the game is over it switches back to the regular 'boat' interface with the wait timer.
> Fixed admins not showing up in the staff list
Updated on 17 June 2016
> As of now, whenever you switch your weapon (or unequip a weapon), you'll stop attacking your enemy, just like it is in RuneScape. This will allow for easier hybridding in the wilderness.
For anyone who wants to keep on attacking on weapon switch, we've added a setting in ::settings
> A duel will now only end in a draw if both players kill each other within the same game tick. If you die more than 1 game tick after the other player, it will be a win for whoever died last.
> Added the command ::commands, which brings you to our wiki page with all in-game commands. This list is auto-generated, so it will always remain up to date when we add new commands. The commands tab in your client is also updated and will also automatically update itself from now on.
> Upon popular request, we've reverted our crown pack back to the original one. The programmer and staff manager crowns remain the 'new' ones, the rest is back to how it used to be. However, you can now easily add your own custom crown packs by adding your own crown images in a subfolder of your cache/Sprites/Player. You can then select your crown pack in-game through ::settings. We've already added all the new crowns (as they used to be right before this update) as your first custom crown pack.
> Once again attempted to fix the bug that doesn't allow you to loot while in combat. Please let me know if it's resolved this time.
Pest Control improvements
> You now have 6 minutes to complete a game instead of 4
> You can now use the ladders and watchtowers
> You can now close the gates
> There is now a void knight (with 200 hitpoints) that you need to protect against the pests. If the knight dies, you lose the game, but each time a portal is destroyed, the knight heals for 50 hitpoints (up to its maximum of 200 HP)
> Pests are now aggressive towards the void knight
> Brawlers and ravagers can destroy the gates (there is no way to repair the gates yet - will be added in the next update)
> Splatters will explode when they come close to the gates, dealing significant damage to the gates and any nearby players
> Defilers and torchers can shoot over the walls
> Shifters can teleport through walls
> Spinners now properly repair damage to portals
These were the main Pest Control improvements that I wanted to get done, now I just want to polish up some final details, get some feedback & suggestions from the community and then we can go ahead and add elite void equipment in an update in the near future!
And of course, don't forget there's still a WildyWyrm event ongoing since this morning, until:
