Hi guys, my name is Dinn3rr, and there are a few black dragon guides out there, but this will cover all dragons and which are the best.

Dinn3rr's Dragon Money-Making Guide
RECCOMENDED SETUP
You can replace the armor with your choice, and the DFS with an anti-dragon shield.
  • RING OF WEALTH IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
  • If you can afford it, use the custom Whip of Fortune.
Keep in mind that if you get a clue or have a clue, you cannot get another one until you drop or finish the scroll, regardless of the difficulty.
All dragons have a bigger variety of items dropped than what is listed below. Listed below are the most important drops.
All Dragons in the Wilderness have a 2x drop rate.
Dragon Bones sell for around 150k-230k Each in the Grand Exchange.
Please keep in mind rates are an ESTIMATE.

~ Reccomended Strategy ~
No Food

REQUIREMENTS:
1 x Dragonfire Shield
3+ x Antifire Potion (4)
10+ x Super Prayer (Prayer Potion) (4)
[Recommended] 1x Super/Extreme Strength Potion (4) OR Overload (4)
43 Prayer

HOW TO:
Keep on your DFS at all times. Drink your antifire potion and use Protect/Deflect Melee.
The dragon(s) will not be able to hit you at all.

Equipment:
Regular Setup (Can be swapped for armor of your choice).
Image
STRONGLY RECCOMENDED: Void Setup (You need void gloves too, forgot to show.)
Image

Green Dragons
Reliability: Decent
A decent way to make money, Green Dragons' source of money is solely bones.
RATE: Unknown /HR
Image
Location:
PK Portal(Edgeville) --> Green Dragons (DANGEROUS! YOU CAN BE PK'ED HERE!)
Drops:
1-2 x Dragon Bones (Always)

Blue Dragons
Reliability: Zero
Don't do Blue Dragons, period.

Black Dragons
Reliability: High
The best way to kill dragons if you're new, black dragons are a decent source of money, and they're rarely crowded.
RATE: ~ 50-100m/HR
Image
Location:
Spellbook (Any) ---> Monsters ---> Dragons
Taverley --> Taverley Dungeon -->Far into the caves
Drops:
1-2 x Dragon Bones (Always)
2-8 x [Noted] Dragon Bones (Sometimes)
1 x Uncut Dragonstone (Rare)
1 x Uncut Onyx (Ultra Rare)
1 x Draconic Visage (Ultra Rare)

Iron Dragons : Level 189
Reliability: Decent
I don't recommend doing Iron Dragons, as their drop rates are lower and they're as dead as Steel Dragons.
RATE: ~ 50-150m/HR
Image
Location:

Spellbook (Any) ---> Monsters ---> Dragons
Drops:
1-2 x Dragon Bones (Always)
2-8 x [Noted] Dragon Bones (Sometimes)
1 x Dragon Platelegs (Ultra Rare)
1 x Dragon Plateskirt (Ultra Rare)
1 x Draconic Visage (Ultra Rare)

Steel Dragons : Level 246
Reliability: Decent
Go to steel Dragons if you're not up for Mithril Dragons. They're not very crowded and give decent drop rates.
RATE: ~ 50-200m/HR
Image
Spellbook (Any) ---> Monsters ---> Dragons
Drops:
1-2 x Dragon Bones (Always)
2-8 x [Noted] Dragon Bones (Sometimes)
1 x Dragon Platelegs (Ultra Rare)
1 x Dragon Plateskirt (Ultra Rare)
1 x Draconic Visage (Ultra Rare)

Mithril Dragons : Level 304
Reliablility: High

I STRONGLY recommend doing Mithril Dragons, as they are the only dragons that have the ability to drop Elite Clue Scrolls,
which go for around 1B on the market. (Currently as of February 2014).
The only problem for Mithril Dragons is that they are usually crowded (In dragons teleport).
RATE: ~ 50M-1B/HR
Image

Location:
Spellbook (Any) ---> Monsters ---> Dragons
or...
PK Portal(Edgeville) --> Green Dragons --> Run North (DANGEROUS! YOU CAN BE PK'ED HERE!)

Drops:
1-2 x Dragon Bones (Always)
2-8 x [Noted] Dragon Bones (Sometimes)
1 x Super Strength Potion (4) (Uncommon)
1 x Super Attack Potion (4) (Uncommon)
1 x Super Defense Potion (4) (Uncommon)
1 x Draconic Visage (Ultra Rare)
1 x Uncut Onyx (Ultra Rare)
1 x Clue Scroll (Elite) (Ultra Rare)
1 x Clue Scroll (Hard) (Ultra Rare)

Frost Dragons
Reliability: Best
Unlike all other dragons, you should mainly be going for the bones, which sell for around 1-3M each.
RATE: ~ 60M-300M/HR
It is highly recommended that you use a Dwarf Multicannon for killing Frost Dragons.
Image
Location:
Player-Owned House --> Portal Room --> Frost Dragons Portal

To access the Frost Dragons Portal, You need:
● Space for a free room in your Player-Owned House
● Atleast Level 50 Construction

Wilderness Mithril Dragons

NOTE: This area is dangerous! Both Multi and Single-combat areas are here. Go here with caution, as bridders, FCers, HCers and other PKers probably will be here.

The upside to this as all Mithril dragons in the Wilderness have a 2x better drop rate of all rare drops.

RATE: 50m-1B/ 30 Mins

Setup:
Image
RING OF WEALTH IS A MUST!

Inventory:
Image

Items:
1 x Overload(4) [Recommended]
3 x Antifire Potion (4)
9 x Super Prayer Potion (4)
1 x Extreme Strength [Reccomended]
1 x Special Attack Weapon (Recommended, use DDS.)
1+ x Home/Camelot Teleport Tablet
8 x Saradomin Brew (4)

How to get there:

Edgeville Teleport ---> PK Portal ---> Green Dragons ---> Run North

Mithril Dragons will be in level 33-40 Wilderness.

Please proceed with extreme caution, as it is very dangerous, and you will have to run 10-15 wilderness levels before you can teleport, so be prepared.

Thanks for reading!

Nice guide!
A thing I suggest to change is the way how to get to mithril dragons in the wildy:
Not wilderness graveyard - run north, but PKP portal (purple portal north of edgeville bank) ---> green dragons ---> run north
Also mention that the dragons in wildy have a 2x drop rate for clue scrolls.
And you forgot green dragons.

On another note, overloads increase kill speeds tremendously, you will make more than enough extra to cover the cost of the ovl.

Also use a cannon for frost drags

This too. But you have to bring food when using overload so maybe extremes are a better idea ;)

I mean overload does 50 damage, so you can only overload once and than your hp will be too low... So you bring food to get your hp up again

After the overload wears off your hp is restored by 50
