My understanding is that donator store item prices are only changed by Mike or Rapsey.
This will happen but it needs more time as the price is volatile. Once the price stabilizes, price suggestions will be made by current staff members for the newly implemented items.
Damn thats crazy, when did that happen?Nazuths wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 12:14 pm Since alch values are independent of the item's price value, it would make more sense that alchables have a price value of their high alch value, in my opinion. Recently people have been using alchables to stake as well, making the items seem worth more than they really are.

So I asked Rapsey what he thought about this as a policy for items that are essentially only used for alch and he had this to say:Nazuths wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 12:14 pm Since alch values are independent of the item's price value, it would make more sense that alchables have a price value of their high alch value, in my opinion. Rapsey wrote:I do not entirely agree with the reasoning. Prices are meant to be a reflection of how much you'd have to pay to buy them from another player, which could be more than the alch value (because people are lazy so they won't bother selling it to you unless they can get a little more than just alching them). So yes, alch value will always serve as a minimum value (since no one will sell for less than they can alch) but it doesn't necessarily serve as a max value.
In short: it should still be judged based on player trades, like any other item. So in the case of Dagon'hai for example I agree they should not be 100M-100M but based on the transaction logs I would put them on 50M-75M or something, not 50M-50M.
