A few individuals should not ruin it for everybody else. Instead of removing it, look for ways to improve its use.

most player-staff discussions are actually about yell mutes.
it will decrease the hate to the staff, people just make new enemy's over the yell channel.

want to talk to a player ? add him as friend, and it requires TAB only.

yell has been invented by a server and every server just copied it, why would you want to yell?
people don't promote anything over yell, selling an item? cool. place it in the G.E and if the player needs an item he just looks in the G.E offers, what's a great system.

tbh, i don't see any point why yell should stay here.

Your logic is assuming that because yelling causes issues, it should be removed. Well, so does talking, so why not IPmute everyone? It just isn't necessary. Removing those who abuse yell from having the ability to do so, is more than enough. People bitch about mutes usually because they're too self-centred or narrow-minded to appreciate that the mute is justified.


Yell also used to be Buy/Sell only, so your argument as to completing removing it regarding that is flawed. Not only that, but you're suggesting that interacting with others, via trades, should be largely limited to GE. Personally, my PC is so shit that I can't stand around Varrock, so you are suggesting that I have a 5% penalty on transactions, purely down to matters that are largely out of my control.

You say Yell causes only drama and negativity. Stop lying and providing false facts. It does far more than that. I often have new players PM me asking for help and just general conversation after my yells, which are *usually* far from negative. Yell can promote positivity and interactivity for the whole community, if used properly.

at your 'shitty' pc, you can acces it at premium zone aswell, and could be added in other less crowded locations aswell...
otherwise, just Auto mute EVERYONE who says Fuck,nigger, and any other flaming word in Yell. i'm sure mike could program a thing like that, just mute every player who use offensive words, positive points: Programmer basicly always give the mutes on yell, which cant be reported anyways.

and if used properly, PkHonor is dealing with idiots months and months, and it will never will be filtered away. that's just a fact bro.

like i said before: The PkHonor community isn't able to keep yell proper. and so it should be removed.
