Give them a 6 month trade ban in game (or 100 hours or something) that’ll sort out the ones you want to come back legitimately or not

Whats the purpose of an unban to lose all your xp/achievements anyway, most of the banned players can already make a fresh account, theres legit no purpose.
Being so completely against an unban surely is just about personal drama. Not one person is going to genuinely sit here and think its justified one loses 2to3k + hours of progress over a misstake they made years and years ago. Everyone matures and will surely understand what they did was wrong, but if theres good intentions to come back to chill and have fun on the game, are you legit going to deny that for a longer sentence then killing someone IRL would get you?
I believe theres no way that someones actual point of view.
A punishment, and even a harsh punishment is certainly needed in the event of a ban.
It is nothing new that after sometime its for the better to get along again. Many been denied access to the account theyve dedicated days on days on. That already plus the removal of all the wealth should be a very justified solution.
