My comment was deleted on the Easter thread so maybe this one is more fitting.
Most people can understand going through depression, ups and downs, rough times in general. Everyone feels for you and wishes you all the best with feeling better.
With that being said you just invested a healthy amount of time into an Easter event that literally nobody asked for, that the community has been trolling about since recognizing you’ve been online the past few days. Which maybe you’ve noticed or maybe you haven’t.
It’s very clear that everyone is anticipating Raj’s combat achievements to be the “next update”. It’s gone through two betas and have been tested for an extensive period of time now. So during your “down time” why not allow this update to be pushed through? Why continue to bottle neck the people within your corner?
There comes a point where when you reject the help you need for so long, eventually that help will no longer be available when you recognize you should’ve taken it from the start. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen here.
You along with others fail to realize this is HIS game, and being so, he has the CHOICE to make whether he wants to progress in areas he doesn't have time for, or make something out of enjoyment, hoping others would enjoy it being nonetheless, as an update, and appreciate he even decided to come out with his personal issues that people keep judging him for it seems.
Acting to share compassion towards his hardships, to argue that he isn't doing anything is only like making an apology, then continuing to do what you do best, like N3on as an example.
There will be one day everyone will eventually wake up to the real world, and understand the game isn't the only thing there is. You have a life with so many loved ones I know more than half of you lose out on, and won't understand what you've done until its too late.
Mike's father is sick, just like my mother. I have wasted so much time that I can never get back, and I try to do anything I can in order to make sure she knows how much I love her before she is gone forever. Just like Mike, he has his own issues, alongside his family. I can say with family alone being my only issue, I cant even imagine what Mike is going through having his depression and anxiety, to where he HAS to see a specialist.
If only you guys understood life for what it is, these type of replies is the last things you'd be posting. Lieven being gone, who can say they still think of him? Who can say they never thought and considered all the time over the years he's been here bullshitting, when he should have been more focused on things around him? I do. And Im honored to have been his buddy to play alongside him, as many of us were, and my prayers go out to his family that didnt understand him as much as we did. His father was calling and emailing me back when I shown my compassion after his passing.. The sadness in his voice was unexplainable. You can only imagine the sadness Mike is going through now, be grateful you had any update.
To wrap it up, no matter how hard you try to pass ownership and leadership off to your friends, It will never happen. This is Mike's game as I said in the beginning, and it's his choice to run it as he wishes, even if its to the ground, to better himself in person. Hes way more important than a game. Just like Jagex recommends breaks every 6 hours, I recommend them to you guys as well. Perhaps taking a break, even for 1 hour, might get you to open your eyes and humble yourself.
