Thank you
I think you're still living in the 2018-ish era. We have gotten shit done, we're roughly over 100+ players in weekends. Most suggestions, pk-related or pvm-related, get implemented these days. I make work of that. I've publicly said that I'm eager to work on PvP suggestions next, so if you have some constructive suggestions: I'm all ears. Believe me. I'll listen and I'll fix it.

It's easy to constantly shit on the team. We established that Mike isn't the best at communication, and just ranting on about him will make him less likely to interact with the community. Why bother?

Nonetheless, point me towards some suggestions. Write one up yourself. I don't mind, I'll gladly discuss whatever is wrong, and I'd love to fix it. It's stupid to think that 1 individual can maintain a server played by hundreds. I don't attempt to think that, I'd rather get direct input by those actually playing the game, those actually knowledgeable about the game.

But constantly bashing the server will make me less eager to help. Will me less eager to work on whatever you're bashing on about. Call it human nature. So again, being blindly negative towards everything won't fix any problems. Help by being constructive, that's what will actually fix the problems.
- Pathing ( chasing, animations that dont disturb it (veng, barrage)
- Mage accuracy
- Melee/range accuracy alike just also seem to be very off, i wish i could be more constructive on both these but its coding and idk what or how is wrong.
- Risk protection (must risk x amount to attack player with x amount of risk, E.G. player must risk 5b to attack someone that risks 15b+ this is what bones2 and @The underdog and their cc abuse HEAVILY, none of them can pk, they just farm pvmers and as soon as one attacks them they have 20+ 0 item alts logged of to hit you off, this is by far the most toxic behaviour one can do in the wilderness, but this server mutes me when i flame them for it xd:) ) literally every other server has this mechanic

These are VITAL points to make pking even possible on a rsps, note that adding some items or removing some item from the game is the easiest option, that doesn't really affect pking though, provided the base mechanics are just off.

Perfect! That's what I meant. Thank you!

Pathing is sadly something I don't have code access to. Something I'll put in priority number uno once I do though. Core game mechanics, something that should just be fixed once and for all.

Accuracy is something I'll dive into next. I've found some resources online that actually calculate accuracy %, so I'll just copy (and test) that. That will take care of ranged, melee and maged accuracy. Once I do, I'll publicize the formula. If anything is wrong with it, and go back to the drawing table, etc.

Risk protection is actually something I haven't seen suggested. Might be a me-problem though. Does it work 2 ways? So skillers cannot be attacked / 1-items cannot attack geared PvPers? Otherwise I'd happily implement that, but I don't know exactly how we'd want to do it. Tiers? 0-1b range, 1b-5b range, 5b+ range? Or how would you imagine it?
Feel free to send me a message, I'd gladly have a chat!

No, people that risk obviously can attack anyone. Let's say i attack you as a 0 item, then you can obviously retaliate and fight back, it sort of "breaks" it in that matter. However, just a 0 itemer without risk cannot engage combat to someone that is risking. The exact ratio for me is unknown, let me tag @Iron bubble to discuss the risk range, as he plays other rspses alot more often.

The risk protection thing is really horrible lol. Might aswell walk with 500 1b ticks in your inventory and be 100% safe because no one will be able to attack you.
Don't let it apply to inventory but gear?
Problem 1: Wear BiS and now not only can you shit over any new player, the new player wont even be able to initiate combat.
Problem 2: wear a legends cape or any other item that has a ridiculous ::prices value and be safe once again. Wanna fix that? Sure, we can blacklist/whitelist items. But by then, why even bother? Wildy is wildy. If you get piled by a bunch of 1itemers when you're caught with 50b risk, it's your fault. Strong gear is usually always the more expensive gear, so it wouldn't even provide an advantage for edge risk PKing since you want the other person to initiate combat so you can shit on them with BiS gear.
It wouldn't work if it was based on any low enough % of risk needed to attack (get too close and it's not worth implementing to begin with). Make it a set amount? (E.g min 5b to fight anyone above 25b): Well good job, you just killed PKing and forced everyone into a stale META.

Risk protection sounds like a fair suggestion. You still wouldn't have to risk the same amount as the other guy and you wouldn't have to be a total walkover, I believe. So theoretically you wouldn't be at a big disadvantage, yet you wouldn't have to commit to a multi-billion risk every time you want to kill someone in badass gear.

Correct me if I get the idea wrong.

The only capes with high value are Druidic cloak and Cape of Legends (also Grain: most combat capes are untradeable and magic capes are cheap). Maybe you could ignore their value when in PvP situations.

A set amount will 100% RUIN any diversity in the wildy. The wildy is the wildy. Not a playpen where the meanies cant attack you because they don't meet your own requirements.

We still have druidic and torva having ridiculous prices. Custom whips may act like regular whips but they still also have the value. What about switches? It'd be weird for bridding if you have a toxic staff but a dds as spec. Shouldn't you be stopped if the total risk was lowered? Or does it only apply to when you're already in combat? What if you want to initiate with a dds spec? Exceptions and complications everywhere. Trust me, a system like this WILL get abused one way or another.

It doesn't go off your invetory, what kinda shit is that? You can bring 5 tix in your bag, thats no problem at all. Point is, when you bring a 1 itemer with 5b tix in his inventory, sure, ill kill it.
What kills single pking is bringing an alt that gives literally no benefit to me when i kill it. If you want to escape by bringing 5b tix on a 1 item alt ill just kill that one? Whats the difference. Fact is that you'll likely tank a tb easier in max gear than a 1 item alt.

:areyoukiddingme:

Not counting inventory = what about switches
Counting inventory = bring a load of wealth and be not attackable OR force certain gear sets to be used rather than whatever tf people wanna do (= might aswell turn the server into a spawnpk server where you can do ::dh for a set but because it's PKH charge GP/PKP because screw variety and all hail the META.)
