Comp cape gives +10 ranged strength bonus. Avas gives no ranged strength bonus.James wrote:Would your completionist cape not give additional bonus' in comparison to an avas accumulator which is BIS on osrs?Adamthalion wrote:...Mike wrote:Forgot about the unholy comp cape. Now I got 102 and 61-61 myself. However, in PvP, the max hit you can possibly get is 81 with HC spec and 47-47 with Dbow spec (with the highest possible gear and stats that I could come up with). So that seems fine.
Only in PvM and in PvP outside the wilderness though (so in PvP in the wilderness, the comp cape offers no ranged max hit extra bonus). And avas indeed gives no ranged strength bonus.Adamthalion wrote:Comp cape gives +10 ranged strength bonus. FYI, max cape gives +5 ranged strength in PvM and PvP outside wild.
Thank you, and that is indeed correct. Your explanation falls in line with what I've heard so far, but one or two small technicalities need to be checked yet by me (I think Adamthalion had some info on that which I have yet to look into). Might even make myself a second OSRS account to test it. Hopefully I'll be able to incorporate the necessary changes in the next update.Wet wizard wrote:Such good updates man, thanks a ton. =]
Not sure if you're aware, but player following while attacking wasn't fixed completely. You did the right changes, but currently if you switch items after attacking, it stops attacking them (like it should), but you continue following the player. Even if they keep running. You'll run with them as well, but you won't attack them. (You're meant to stop at the destination before switching, not instantly or after.)
I would agree with this, they seem much too frequent of a drop.James wrote:I advise reducing the drop rate of vissages from all dragons except those in the wilderness. It won't make much of a difference in the short term due to the vast amount of DFS' in the economy, but over time it should lead to DFS' settling at a reasonable price.
