It's literally impossible to do Nylo room in under 6:50. The boss itself is not hard, but they spawn for a long ass time even if you are efficiently killing them. Unless there is some mechanic that I am completely missing.

It seems that the code for the waves is wrong. Waves should only be delayed if the cap of nylocas is reached, and will begin spawning when the number of nylos in the room goes back under the cap
