Nice update but please look at the stability atm. Everyone is dcing like crazy. I dced at slayer tower and I am at height 1 in varrock now...

With this stability perhaps it's better to shut off the server for some minutes and find the cause, than letting all these dcs happen with the consequences of a lot of refunds etc
Or wasn't there a function to put things like pvp and duel arena off?

Not yet no. It's only now that the event is complete that we know the sum total. Now we can decide how best to do it (1 drop party or multiple smaller ones) and when this will happen.
