Sorry for being unable to play much in these last 2 days Sad to see the edge plan didn't work out as planned. Stupid lag shit.

Doubtful, unless we manage to find a way to address the lag issue :/ this version of OSRS in fullscreen does not cope well with some 30 NPC's and 50+ players in the same place, unless we make them look like stick figures.James wrote: If the player base is still 10% lower than usual after reverting back to varrock will it be once again changed to edgeville? Seems like the logical conclusion if there was a 10% increase in PKers.
Also, 10% more PK'ers was based off 15 - 30 players in the wilderness (so like 2 - 3 more on average). 10% fewer players was based off 200 (about 20 fewer on average).

What about utilising the grand exchange? It's hold a lot of nostalgic value for a huge number of players and it's right beside edgeville, allowing PKers to run back and forth whilst still maintaining a sizable gap between the crowds of NPCs and crowds of players which should resolve the lag issue.

Making the grand exchange into a commerce hotspot is a good idea, was talking about it earlier. Worth talking aboutJames wrote:Fair enough.Mike wrote:Doubtful, unless we manage to find a way to address the lag issue :/ this version of OSRS in fullscreen does not cope well with some 30 NPC's and 50+ players in the same place, unless we make them look like stick figures.James wrote: If the player base is still 10% lower than usual after reverting back to varrock will it be once again changed to edgeville? Isn't it noobs who still have to update their client or something?
Well I liked it, I noticed some fps drops though which isn't that great.

[Edit]
- Fixed not receiving any magic XP when enchanting onyx bolts
- The wilderness respawn point (North side of Edgeville, next to ::shops) can now be picked as the teletab teleport location. To do so, right-click a teletab and choose 'Toggle destination'
- The skilling center portal has been re-added to the starter tent

Liked Edge as well as home, sad to see it go. Anyways, ecumenical keys are going to be a huge time saver for sara & gwd, i'm sure plenty are just as happy they finally made it in-game great work as usual.

Re: 2 November Updates - back to Varrock, Wilderness Event,
Since we didn't have any weekend events planned in yet, I've enabled a wilderness event during this weekend, resulting in:
Ends in:
- +50% PkHonor Points on PK kills
- 50% chance to receive +2 Bounty Hunter Emblem levels on target kills instead of +1
- Double artifact droprates on BH target kills
- +20% droprates and double pet drops on all wilderness NPC's
- +20% PkHonor Points and Pest Control Points from the WildyWyrm
- +50% Slayer Points on all slayer targets and revenants killed in the wilderness
- +20% Slayer XP on all slayer targets killed in the wilderness
- +50% combat XP within the wilderness
Ends in:
