There's no such thing as cycles. The leaderboard simply takes into account everything that players have obtained in the past 7 days and it updates every minute.
So for example, if you obtain a tier 10 emblem on 21 February at 9:20 PM and get ranked on the leaderboard because of it (and you don't obtain any new tier 10 emblems), then on 28 February at 9:20 PM you'll be removed from the leaderboard.

I hope that clarifies everything.

What you just said is exactly what a cycle is? Every 7 days the old stats are wiped clean and a new one begins aka a cycle?

I think what terese is asking for is perhaps a game message saying when the next 7 days will be starting, or just directly on the leader board.

It counts everything done in the last 7 days. It's not like it resets every monday. If you got a tier10 on saturday 10:00 it will not be registered on the board on the next saturday 10:01 anymore.

After the next saturday the fact that you got a tier 10 emblem the last saturday will not matter. That's exactly what I'm saying. That's a cycle.
