I found the problem why I thought nothing was working before.
If you relog, you can trade, pk, use ge etc. So basically all restrictions are removed if you relog as an iron man.
Might be because its the test server? But it does save the other progress so I don't think thats the case. So I think this is a pretty big bug.

Shop restrictions need to be decided yet, I'm sure many (if not most) shops should actually be accessible to ironman mode players. if you kill someone in the wildy with your ironman account you still get the pkp and pcp points from the person you killed, so its easily abusable to get a lot of pkp and pcp on your ironman account.

Right, your ironman mode status doesn't save in the database yet. Minor thing I hadn't implemented yet

Not 100% certain if we need to restrict ironman mode players from the lottery. After all, lottery or pVm, it's both luck based so does it really matter?
Besides, on average, you'll lose money on it.

Correct, I hadn't restricted that yet, thanks for reminding me.

The whole point is everything on the account is from scratch - no unfair advantages.

Tbh I doubt I'd make an ironman if people could donate to get infinitely ahead of me.

I think an Iron man shouldn't get to use the shops that sell weapons and armour, as well as things that you could get through drops, such as seeds etc.
I'd also prefer them to have to make their own hatchet, but as you can't make pickaxes, that'd be an exception.

Also, I don't believe the starter pack should be the same as any normal account, I'd think it'd include less gp for one, maybe less food to invoke skilling early on?

can we get an eta on release of ironman now?
