For everyone who is skeptical about having Billy as a new player, and our new Staff Manager, I'll just give you all my two cents on it.
When I was first told that Mike and Rapsey were hiring someone new to be our Staff Manager, I, out of previous experience, immediately thought "Oh God that's so stupid!" My reasoning for thinking this, is because naturally, a new person who doesn't play much obviously doesn't know the current members of the Staff Team, how we operate, the Community, and how the community plays, and behaves, and whatnot. Now of course, since I witnessed a situation like this before, my first thought was that it was going to be terrible, and a total failure.
However, in the week or so that Billy has been around, I've gotten the chance to speak with him (Rick and Patel have as well), and after our 1-hour-long conversation, I'm incredibly happy to say that I have the utmost faith for him, and I know that he will do a great job as our Staff Manager. He's very down-to-Earth, friendly, easy to talk to, respectful, and respectable, and you guys will like him a lot (hopefully). I, and the other Administrators, will be working closely with him, and he will be working closely with us as well. I'll speak for myself here and say that if I have any advice, or input to give to Billy, I will do so, and I know that he is very much open to all advice and suggestions. For me, I believe that working with him will be an absolute pleasure, and I cannot wait till he gets started.
You may still not be convinced by my words about Billy, and that's fine, however, when he makes his first few changes to the Staff Team, I'd hope that you all accept these changes, and not be harsh towards Billy, Myself, or anyone else on the Staff Team, because this is something that we all have to adapt to. So we'll see how everything works out, and I believe that it will all work out just fine.
In other news, I can't wait for the new Password Recovery system. It'll make Recoveries a whole lot easier. I'm also excited about the new updates as well. Good work, all of you, and good luck finishing the final products of your updates!
