Started in 07 played until my account got hacked + banned. Started again in 2012, got more into it than when I played in 07. Probably because I appreciated how much Jagex put into the game, and how many hours it must've taken to code/create everything.

I played with some older friends in Classic, so like '04. I started playing a month or two after RS2 came out idk when exactly that was though

I joined a day after wildy was taken out and was very confused why people were "rioting" in varrock.

I started it 2004. Still got the yo-yo from the 2004 christmas event in my bank
I remember I respected an irl friend because he was like supperrrrr rich (he had 2000 gp) and the moment I was proud of myself for killing the bear south of varrock. Good old times, good old times....

I recon I started in 2005 or 2006.
Lost that account, started again in 2008 but got hacked.
I then started a new account in the same year and still play on that.
