Castle Wars - my turn

Now that Dylan's work on Castle Wars is finished, I'm working on merging his work with mine and finishing what he started.

The merge process was made easier through the source control system that Rapsey had set up a while ago. It took me less than 2 hours to complete the merge so there's that.

What I need to do next:
-> Make sure players can't keep their castle wars hoods/capes
-> Make sure there is no way for players to cheat (will require a lot of testing)
-> Test for all possible bugs and fix them
-> Add rewards
-> Get rid of current castle wars tickets in the game (not yet sure how)

Optional extras:
-> Make the catapult work (probably an addition for a later update)

Sounds good. Don't worry about the catapult, I'm pretty sure nobody even uses it anyway.

But yeah sounds good right now, hope we can get to playing this soon :)
Could we possible get xp rewards for any skill, but less for certain skills kind of like how it works at soul wars in rs?

That'd be pretty overpowered, especially if you take Construction and Prayer into account.

Yeah I know, but that's why the xp for slower skills - like hunter, construction, prayer - would be much less than that of easy skills, say 100k or 200k xp per point. If it's 2 points or 3 points a game that's not much xp if you think of it.

Why get rid of the current Castle War tickets? 'Reward' those who already have them by turning 1 ticket into 50 or so, then they have a reasonable headstart in any rewards which I can't imagine them complaining too much about.

That's actually a good idea. Since they're currently tradeable (I think), people who don't want them can sell them to others who do want a head start in CW tickets.
However, we'll only know for sure how many tickets to give once the rewards (and their prices) have been determined.
